3 Ways to Quarantine Productively

Let’s just get right to it. I, personally, am on day 6 ( I think) of isolation. I’ve watched probably every reality TV show Netflix has to offer, I’m all caught up on literally everyone’s Insta stories and Wordscapes isn’t cutting it. So now I have to get creative with my time… we all probably should. Here’s how:

  1. Work-out On-demand. I think it’s safe to say that just about all of us could benefit from a little exercise right now and lucky for us we can do it from home! I’ve been stepping up my yoga practice with on-demand videos from Core Power, but there are tons of yoga classes available on Youtube as well. If you’ve been hesitant to try yoga or you want to attempt a handstand but you’ve been too scared to try in front of a group of yogis, now’s your time. Also, for those of us unable to make it to the gym, Daily Burn is offering a free 60-day trial for their at-home fitness classes.
  2. Cookbooks & Meal Delivery. If the thought of braving a grocery store to fight over a stick of butter gives you anxiety, you’re in good company. Plenty of delivery services are running specials right now, most likely in hopes that once we can all go back to normalcy you’ll continue using their product.   3. Watch Church from Home. Say it with me: “This too shall pass.” Once it does, don’t you want to accomplish all those goals you set back in January? I’ve been seeing a lot of Instagram posts suggesting that maybe this break is a sign that we all need a reset. If you’re able to change your mindset during this time at home imagine how great life could be because you decided to tap into all your gifts and talents.
